Goa is the perfect blend of natural beauty, lively nightlife, and tropical environs. I was fortunate enough to spend every week in Goa at the start of October on a piece educational trip, a chance that might allow me to explore the state almost in its entirety. The trip provided an incredible insight into the chances of a vacation to Goa.

Goa provides a chaotic and relaxed atmosphere, particularly in comparison with the north of the country, it was wonderful to enjoy some of Goa’s famous seafood and dodge the spice. For the time being at least while eating alongside a soothing scenery of the sea with a cooling ocean breeze. We spent the first few days staying in South Goa, visiting various sea shores, hotels and towns and generally getting a feel for the region. The South is regarded as a more relaxed and peaceful part of Goa, something reflected by sea shores like Arossim and Benaulim. Colva is a little more enthusiastic, viewed as the south’s most famous beach resort and frequented by domestic and international tourists alike. A little further south of Morjim sits Baga, exhibiting a totally extraordinary environment to that of its neighbour. Separation is traded for foundation, bringing about a fabulously lively environment characterized by a whole line of fragrant and inviting sea shore shacks, all placed beside a long stretch of golden sand.

We enjoyed one of our most memorable days while staying in South Goa, as we embarked on the Glimpses of Goa tour. Although Goa is specially known for the best beach destination, there’s plenty more to the beauty of Goa than coconuts and cocktails. The area is overwhelmed by Goa’s capital city, Panjim, and we were able to spend an hour, walking around the beautiful Latin Quarter. The rushing about of Central Goa continues in immediate North Goa, with beach resorts such as Candolim, Calangute and Baga providing more energy than South Goa.

There is massive culture and history likewise fit to be found during a vacation to Goa. Probably the best spot to do this is Old Goa, an interesting objective displaying the previous fortune of the state, and specifically, the Portuguese pilgrim time. During the sixteenth century, Old Goa was referred to as the ‘Rome of the East’, such was its grandeur and significant standing in Asia. Today a large number of its fortunes remain and Old Goa is currently recorded as an UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its splendidly saved structures and milestones moving you back so as to a former time.

We enjoyed some great meals and drinks at a range of top eateries, such as Calamari in Candolim and Thassos in Anjuna. I was likewise ready to spend a day away from the rest of my friends and travel down to the far south of Goa to the remote beach resorts of Agonda and Palolem. These beaches are often referred to as the most beautiful in Goa, and I could see why as I strolled onto the soft white sand with coconut groves swaying behind me and the clear blue ocean gently lapping at the shore. The sea shores’ distance added to their excellence, however for some, the relative detachment here is probably going to drive them to remain further up the coast.
From the excellent shores of its sea shores and striking green of its wide open to its mesmerizing colonial history and its mouth-watering food. It is one of the best place I’ve ever been to…
